Watched first two episodes of "Masters of the Air" on Apple. The 3rd Steven Spielberg WW2 series is not looking as good as "Band of Brothers" and "The Pacific," which are both amazing. It seems dumbed down and the characters don't have much depth. Perhaps it's just harder to make a series about men in planes cause only so many things can happen. The first two shows are terrific because they have so much pettiness, stupidity and so many awful things happen which gives the characters depth. This one looks like someone said, "let's just show the inspirational moments," which makes it feel very light.
