The bottom line message is actually pretty simple and powerful wrapped up in an extremely bizarre, whacky and complicated story. One of the strangest movie I've ever seen that actually makes sense using some very nutzo story telling elements.

Beautiful, funny, sad. A nice small film. Outstanding performances. Great nostalgia piece looking back to the early 70's. Great musical memories. The subject was Alcoholism.... and life.

Way above average Sci Fi. One error was not placing it far enough into the future though. Humanity won't quite be there in 40 years. The Blade Runner error. 2100+ makes more sense. The lesson I took from the story is an excellent one. AI intelligence will very likely end up figuring out Morality and Ethics more effectively and honestly than the humans who create it. AI will not destroy Humanity as many fear. In fact it might be what saves it. Humans frequently fail at the fundamental task of how to treat members of its own species and others and is currently doing a very effective job of driving itself to extinction all on its own. 😉🖖✌️

Fun. Excellent Action. Good good guys. Bad good guys and Good Bad guys.... And as Happy and ending as was possible.
