Honorable Judge Judy: On your shows, you typically refer to dogs as having mothers, fathers, and also that puppies are "born." Please note the following information: Dogs are "whelped," not born. The dog's "father" (sic) is called, Sire. The dog's "mother" (sic) is called, Dam. Never do you refer to dogs as being born. Nor do you refer to a dog's mother or father. It is simply incorrect!
