In my opinion, Lijo was attempting to penetrate our minds, reaching out to touch the forgotten childhood memories, images that were generated by childhood imaginations while reading amar chitrakadha, Novels etc... This film is designed for 70s and 80s kids. Of course, the movie is slow, cliché, and dramatic. I believe it was purposefully crafted in this manner, and it worked for me—I went back in time and experienced the 10-year-old within me. Thank you!
