What utter nonsense that we have to watch another polished up recreation of how the 'HERO' Americans turned up at the last minute in 1942 and claim the glory, when Turin broke the enigma and the Russians took Berlin, and had been holding off Germany since 1939. Meanwhile, afterwards, they could f off home to their cosy unaffected houses, patting themselves on the back as a job well done and boast about it. Whilst Europe had lost mother's father's daughters sisters brothers sons, entire families, homes, entire streets to rubble, food rationing and poverty for years to come. They glamorise war because they have never actually lived it. Unlike band of brothers, that helped you feel their pain and involvement. This was a just another self indulgent trumpet ridden horn to the their rapidly diminishing status on the global stage.

Dreadful acting, dreadful actors. Should never have been brought back.
