This documentary is compelling but it does not cover the major major poisoning this group did to the town they lived in. It also did not cover how it was the largest bio-terror attack EVER. This series reads very much a he said she said over The Bagwan's and Sheela's relationship and power dynamic. I also feel they did not put the right story in front of us about Sheela and her followers within this cult and her whole relationship to Bagwan. They don't give you a ton of history on Rajneesh or their belief system/motivation. They also don't tell you there's a nuance to terms like Rajneesh and Synnyasans. I think this lack of detail leads a high risk to be misinformed on the group's whole story.
it's wildly interesting, and it's cool they got all the main players to speak in this series, but as an avid documentary watcher, I can see it is not the whole picture, so as a series I cannot give it high praise for being informative. Take it with a grain of salt and learn more on your own. you'll see how skewed this could feel having not been there.
