I actually enjoyed it because it shows that he is growing and attempting to reach another audience. I think he is getting better and better and even more importantly, giving black actors work. If you go back and watch his earlier stuff, you will see how much he’s grown. If you complain about a TP movie, then you don’t who he is. He’s never said he was the best writer and he never said he wanted to make you think on a deeper level. Every movie he has put out has gotten terrible reviews, but every time he puts out a new movie, we watch it, and regardless of the poor reviews his movies receive, they always make make money. Some of y’all watch his movies to complain, bc you want his movies to be written a certain way. He’s doing him and that’s alright with me. I’m a Tyler Perry fan. The more y’all criticize, the more he keeps pushing forward. I have so much respect for him and the fact the he never gave up and manifested a successful life, in spite of all the critics and haters. Kelly Rowland and Trevante Rhodes did a great job and I really enjoyed their on screen chemistry.

I’ve been a fan of Halloween since the beginning and I thoroughly enjoyed Halloween Ends. I thought it was a good idea to introduce Cory to the audience. Cory gave us a better understanding of who Michael was when he was younger and some of the things he may have endured that took him to the darkest part of himself that he was never able to recover from. Especially, when we see how Cory’s mother treated him. The other part of the movie that I really appreciated was that this is the first time we see Michael as a human. Michael gained strength from killing. Michael was weaker because not only was he older, he hadn’t been actively killing people. This is why Laurie was finally able to kill him. With Corey, she had to trick him so that she could get the jump on him. If she hadn’t shot him through that door, he would’ve killed her. Corey was younger- stronger and just like Michael- he was to far gone to be stopped. I enjoyed it, and I think it gave us more than just a masked killer who comes out on Halloween killing everyone in his path - while searching for his sister to kill her too.

Yea I thought this was 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I have been watching since the beginning in 1978 and I will continue to watch until it comes to an end. They brought back some of the originals and this one had humor in it. It was intense, surprising and scary. My favorite serial killer Michael Myers takes killing to a whole new level. The blood, the gore, the overkill was all that. One of my favorite scenes was when they have Michael down in the street and I won’t say what happens but I will say - IT WASN’T over. Can’t wait til next year for “Halloween Ends”.
