Took my 7 year old Pokémon scholar to watch it on opening day, and we both enjoyed ourselves the entire time. The movie was filmed in 35mm (stylistic rendition to Blade Runner) and the Pokémon are very realistic and true to detail. A caffeneited Pikachu (Ryan Reynolds) delivers witty, wholesome jokes scene after scene. The mystery keeps you on your toes guessing until the end. A kid friendly noir-adaptation of a video game by the same name with an interesting plot twist, this movie is a must-see for kids, parents and the Pokefandom.
