This movie was absolutely incredible. From the foreshadowing with the wolf to the storybook art style, the structure for this movie is practically perfect. Though the movie is directed at children, it's enjoyed by all ages and multiple different types of people.
The story and design for the wolf is absolutely incredible. It's easily one of the scariest "bad guys" I've seen in cartoons and it isn't just a visual scary. And, this depth we see isn't just in him. Through each new character, there's a completely new story and it all fits together like puzzle pieces.
The portray of emotion through this film is amazing too. The cast fits each character incredibly, and the vision of anxiety through puss is beautiful. Personally, I've never seen a movie show anxiety visually so well.
I can't stress enough that this movie is 100% worth it. The acting, animation, and story all fits perfectly together and it's truly something worth your time.
