The book had no coherent storyline, everything revolves around a couple of characters who had no personality. The only characters I liked were Lady Russel, Louisa and Mary, who were all irrelevant side characters that had no involvement in the plot. It was really irking that some sentences took up almost a whole page on multiple occasions, which made it very hard to comprehend. Overall the book was bad and the blurb was very misleading. Would not recommend, very boring.
