A beautiful experience in a specific gospel inspired aesthetic. This album isn’t for everyone, I did not like it on first listen but it grew on me more and more over time. It’s one of my favorite TV Girl albums now and I think it’s fantastic. The songs are unique and sometimes a little bizarre compared to other TV Girl tunes, but it’s originality makes it stand out in a special way for with the patience to let this album grow on them. It definitely takes more than one listen to “get it”
