Everything before the Mechagodzilla was boring and uninteresting. Characters were just a waste of time and there was no buildup to the fight. It was only after the introduction of Mechagodzilla that things get interesting and the ensuing fight is Amazing to watch and behold. New movies lack the buildup that old ones have that grips you to the seat. Anyways push through the boring and vague first half to witness the Monster Fight!!
