I had the pleasure of being sent a copy of this book before it was out. Thank you for much Jason, this book is more than incredible. I was gripped from beginning to end. The choice to follow several different characters that intertwine into the same story was so clever and kept the book constantly interesting. If you are a fan of House Of Leaves, this is the closest i’ve ever gotten to that satisfaction. However, My Dirty California stand entirely on its own and is a unique work of art and storytelling. It scratches the same itch as House Of Leaves, but provides deeper characterization, and embarks on a far different story that is much more modern. I highly recommend this read. 10/10.
