I used to really enjoy this game, but now blizzard has ruined it. They got rid of everything that made overwatch unique. They got rid of 6v6 because they were too lazy to balance it (just make 2 different classes for tank that you can queue up for to avoid double shield??? try something atleast) and replaced it with 5v5 which makes kind of diminishes the whole teamwork and strategy aspect. Tanks have way too much health now, especially if youre playing open queue everyone just goes 3-4 tanks every game, it is not fun. Just feels like a messy chaotic death match where tanks are immortal and you barely get ult charge. Also requiring phone numbers so that the game is not accessible to everyone. Removing displayed ranks in competitive?? It doesnt even make sense, atleast have an average skill rating so you can see what the elo of the game youre playing in is? Also removing all the data for previous competitive seasons. These are all terrible changes. Overwatch was a great and unique game, the only thing that ruined it was the content drought, and the dev team not even attempting to balance their game and heroes properly. i really loved this game, it was so unique and it makes me so sad to see it in this state. This is not the game I paid for and loved. Oh yeah and im not even gonna mention all of the server issues on top of all of that. Just give us the option to atleast play ow 1 as a seperate version. I feel like blizzard purposefully does not listen to any community feedback at all whatsoever. And no, this review is not to just hate on the game, I really want to see this game succeed. i just wish that blizzard would listen to community feedback and stop changing things that don't actually need to be changed (like changing mercy movement for example??-could work on maybe giving her burst healing instead or making her more exciting, mercy in ow 2 feels so lackluster and her movement is so janky? getting rid of the displayed ranks in competitive? getting rid of the on fire icon when youre doing well? these changes were unnecessary. I really want to see this game succeed, i just wish that they actually listened more to what the community has to say.
