Tuscany, dreamhouse reno with an American icon! I watched the first episode and was so disillusioned, I breezed through and went to the next episode each time I found her complaining, ranting, being disrespectful, negative, shouting etc. I zipped to the final episode where I watched the whole episode. I was stunned and found comfort in reviews since it “wasn’t just me!” I just could not believe (similar to most posts) her conduct. I felt such empathy for the workers, her husband and her teammate. Just wow! She didn’t look “well” so I’m not excusing her behavior but I can’t help but think as she watched- she had to see the ugly in herself? I am very curious how this was edited and produced. I wonder if she was truly that awful to literally everyone ( Joan Crawford vibes), to the point that the producers allowed this to happen as retaliation? I went to the reviews hopefully to learn more details. It’s truly a jaw dropper. I must say, to the point I’ll turn anything she’s on - off. I will not look to purchase her products or follow her new company/brand. It was that bad and I believe we saw her authentic self! She must have paid through the nose for locals to put up with her. I think the devastation of Covid in Italy must have played a role in their tolerance of her behavior. Ugly American vibes- “No wire hangers!” . I can’t help but wonder if she will find herself in that huge kitchen with her custom stove and short shelves, drinking wine all alone. Sad all the way around.

A mother of two, voting more commonly Democratic and a registered Republican. I did not vote for my “party” in the last two presidential elections. This strong, patriotic American female tells HER story. An American patriotic story, of a warrior in her own right. She tells us about her upbringing, how her passion and ethics and morals were shaped, molded and expressed. She is courageous and intelligent and very poised and professional. This is a good read for ANY American. This is a story of a woman raised in America, carving her bumpy, fruitful, eventful and often painful American dream. I listened on Spotify premium. Please read, listen and share with many. Specifically young women of America.

Profound. Perfectly imperfect! Mesmerizing acting all around. I laughed- I cried- I yelled at the screen and I explained… to my husband. At first a lot and then not at all by the end because he began to understand how repeated and lasting effects the ripple of abuse is irreversible for many and how critical safe spaces are desperately needed for so many women in so many ways! I hope this sweeps the nation with viewership. I couldn’t not watch. We’re all rooting for Alex!

That was fun-entertaining and interesting. Really nothing vulgar either- reminds me of murder mystery thrillers back in the day. Who doesn’t love a salty vet cop still in a healthy relationship with his amazingly competent and supportive wife? Bring that old fashioned scenario back any time for me. Sure, perhaps too many lost leader suspects and details but that’s the fun of guessing the mystery of it. Took its time to develop and that was fine for us. I was overthinking all the side eye glances etc. At one point, I thought his wife was in on it too! Characters made this an enjoyable Friday night date movie! No spoiler alert but we didn’t guess all the pieces till the very end. Fun soundtrack too. Loose ends… sure but that’s ok. That keeps you talking after or even watching it a second time. Good guys won. Ok… small spoiler.
