One of the most incredible games I have ever had the pleasure of playing. Never before has such a game effortlessly blended single-player and multi-player elements. I have played several hundred games in my time, with an overt focus on fantasy RPGS, think the Witcher and Skyrim, and Baldur's gate has absolutely shredded my idea of what makes a good fantasy game. The POV is quite different from those I'm used to especially when moving into the combat - which is different, fresh and reminds me of the exciting developments made by games like the Shadow of Mordor. I really enjoyed this take, and whilst it took some getting used to I can honestly say I was blown away. The craftsmanship, the ingenuity, the incredible voice-acting, all comes together to provide a comprehensive experience that rivals the replayability, longevity and legendary status of gaming's current crown jewel, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This experience is mightily changed by your choices, in a way you will never forget, and will always be drawned back into. It goes without saying Skyrim has enjoyed such longevity due to it's emphatic and loyal modding community that has continued to support the game through many iterations - however, Baldur's Gate 3 has established itself as the brand new crown jewel, offering longevity, depth of gameplay, and a replayability unfettered by a modding community from the get-go. This is a attestment to Larian Studios' dedication, mastery of game development, and their ingenious flair riddled within Baldur's Gate 3. An incredible honour to play, enjoy, and love the game they have worked so hard to create. Thank you.
