They seem to be relying almost totally on the venue being Hawaii and yet don’t even bother to show much in the way of Hawaii scenery and culture. If the producers think the venue replaces the need for quality writing and casting they are sadly mistaken and the NCIS name can only carry it so far. I can’t see this series lasting more than one season on its current path. 😕
