Completely different from the book. The book was a well written story with life events that reflect the time, people, and history. This show, which should be named something different since it is NOT the book story, took out so many important events and changed story lines so awful it did not make sense. Don’t bother watching if you enjoyed the book. You WILL be disappointed.
