Curious where this will go. As it stands it lacks any sort of guiding character with a definable set of values. They all flip flop based on whatever short term plot was hastily written. It's attempt at social commentary is forced and feels pandering, but I guess that's better than HIMYM blatant sexist, transphobic and racist jokes. They feel stuck in between two styles. trying to be edgy and funny and raunchy, embracing how new sitcoms can be "real." and on the other hand trying to bring back the classic early 2000s sitcom charm that HIMYM and many others had. Unfortunately to me it seems as if it's failing both. Maybe it can get a grip on one side but the show feels aimless. Like a parody of itself that was written in a few minutes.
