I spent 7 years in federal prison in a small medical unit with Madoff. I have a book out called Monkey House about our time together. The author of this book hardly knew anything about Madoff. A visit or two and some correspondence is hardly an intimate relationship. The movie De Niro made was bogus. De Niro did not even bother to visit Madoff. De Niro sounded and acted like De Niro--well, what an accomplishment! All in all, if you like to be ripped off, then buy this book that slapped Bernies picture on the cover and was Bernie's standard explanation and continue the charade. Better yet, just buy a jar of Vaseline and smear a bunch on your butt--it will be easier that way.
