A fabulous well written book which is very moving, quite haunting at times and highlights prejudices and intolerance in humanity. The fight for survival is inherent in us all but the protagonist Kya demonstrates this brilliantly. The authors depiction of nature is superb, just at the right pitch, so interesting. The writing is awesome, held my interest throughout and loved the depiction of the landscape.
