I'd just say it's a stupid series for it employees the predictable, elementary mechanisms typical of an old Brazilian or Mexican telenovela. But it isn't just a stupid product. It 's totally unhistorical, and with a fake progressive content. Pedro Almodovar, in the 1980s, made movies that were great under all respects. In this series, you can see he attempt to americanize other cultures. The USA can guarantee neither quality healthcare nor quality education to all citizens, but it's so good at exploiting other cultures and pretending to be progressive just in order to make and attract more money. This series was produced by Netflix ($$$), and you can see the American cultural brainwashing even by listening to the ridiculous soundtrack used. Disgusting. Americans pretend to teach culture to cultures more civilized than theirs. P.s. The actors are pretty good, much better than American actors with their stereotyped expressions.
