This movie was atrocious. The acting was poor. The character development was rushed. The special effects were poorly done. Not bad but over the top. And there were scenes that you could tell they shot just for the trailer because they didn’t fit into the movie. The only good thing about this movie was Chris Pine. His acting made up for most of the over exaggerated yelling throughout. I was extremely disappointed in this movie. I think this was written by a sixth grader. I don’t understand how dc can put out great comics and animated films but they can’t get a handle on their live action movies. It felt like people were pitching ideas and the director was like “why not?! Put it in!” There were so many things that didn’t make sense or added dialogue to explain it in even though it was unnecessary. I’m glad I didn’t pay to see this in theaters. Not worth it. Watch it on HBO if you have a subscription or just wait until it’s cheaper to stream elsewhere if you actually wanna watch it.
