I can’t even give this a star rating, they forced me to give it one but it doesn’t deserve it. What this book clearly shows me is that Ben growth socially was stunted at probably 12 or 13. I have no question Ben has a high IQ. I’m guessing his parents when they found out stopped letting him be a child and grow up with kids his age and pushed him. Ben was probably bullied quite a bit being an already smaller boy rushed into higher grade levels with now only bigger but older children. He clearly has resentments he has never let go of and probably never will. As far as the book itself, it’s written like a bad tv show, or more precisely, like what a 12 year thinks a good tv show is, but it’s not, also, stop, using, so many, commas, please?
