It is astounding how similar this show is to I am number 4 besides the whole supernatural part and i don't think anyone has made those connections yet for starters the two man characters have the same names; john and sarah the love interest, they have the quirky weird smart friend, who would play pope and ofcourse, the hot head jealous ex and lets not forget the 'jocks' or in this case the kooks oh and the parents who were never around or didnt exist... this show is made up of teen cliches and elements of alot of other teen movies and shows mashed into one. I dont think Outer Banks would do aswell as it has without the above average acting that has saved it. Also how many times can a person say "john B"
