A 1992 TV series that resonates with all ex military personnels' at that time and especially with the Paras. This brings back shocking memories from when I had left the Army with NO support... and not by choice, but my pride as an Army PTI now school teacher of PE with 1st Class Hons from University. This was accomplished only after sleeping rough on the streets of Aberdeen with very little money and no hope of a future. Nevertheless, the actors played their roles to perfection that begs the question as to how they can act to such a performance of authenticity without being in the Army... Amazing actors! To this day 2024 I have never felt such brotherhood in as much as I had felt serving in the Army, as well as with my childhood friends from the 1960's and 70's. And to this day I miss the Army so very much that I will be returning as an Instructor in 2025...This is my belonging.
"There is no doubt in my mind that ex military professional personnel's should be given priority over civilians to work in government uniformed services as a priority to help lessen such failures within the system... this includes Education."
