I loved this book! Like a leaf that grows and evolves into a beautiful flower. Full of every emotion one can imagine. Many improbable things happen, but life can be like that! Suggest you don't read any reviews that give the plot away. I will say it's a bonus if you appreciate music, especially opera. However, that's not mandatory by any means. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful series. Great story line, acting, sets, authentic furnishings, couture, automobiles, scenes in London, Paris, and more. The only downside for me is the sound quality, making some dialogue difficult to understand. Highly recommend it!

I like Nicole Kidman and think she's a great actress. Can't imagine why she chose to be in this production. We lived in Hong Kong for 3 years, and very little is recognizable. If you're a fan of high intensity, depressing theater, you might stick it out. Film noir. Not for me.
