The movie was simply fantastic and Jennifer Hudson played the part very well and pulled you in as you watched.
Because I am an Aretha fan from the 60’s I was so pleased to see her get the acclaimed ‘Respect’ to her part in the Civil Rights Movement and her artistry as a writer, producer, and a natural singer.
It was her recognized gift of a gospel artist that made her so very unique, because you could feel and hear that gospel flavor in all of her singing style.
This movie deserves an Oscar, Grammy, BET, and NAACP Awards.
You did it Aretha and kudos to Jennifer, because you had that walk and you felt her pain.
