The film really lacked alot.
Although I was really excited to see the illuminati. An intro to the x-men, the inhumans and the fantastic four there scenes were really lack luster.
Captain Marvels characters is now always portrayed poorly as an over confident, mostly rude character who thinks to highly of her self.
I enjoyed seeing Peggy as Captian Britain which was fun and her death was quite horrific.
I dont see why you'd introduce these characters to have them ripped apart by Wanda. Yes it shows how powerful she is. But you could have achieved this with a council of champions we've already seen.
That being said the ways Black Bolt, Peggy and Mr Fantastic died were quite cool. Captain Marvel not so much, as it seems a little lackluster a statue could crash her. But hey I think the character has been portrayed and written poorly in the MCU.
I think the premise of the film works but only if Wanda is the big baddy for this phase. Remember white Vision is still out there somewhere. And realistically she could conjure the boys into existence without having to find out steal someone else's.
It was nice to see Patrick Stewart but my word the poor guy looked on his last legs and although the homage to old cartoons in the yellow floating wheel chair was a good idea it looked really bad on screen.
Liked the intro of Clea and hopefully Strange will have fun fighting Dormammu with her.
Overall not the best. But there has to be a young Avengers story in the pipeline as the majority of stars are now on the younger side.
