It's important to watch without making quick judgements about the people in the documentary or the reason their stories are told.
The generational, as well as, the geographic perspectives were helpful. I liked the background on the political decisions that affected unionization, continue to guide federal funding and influenced corporate profiteering decisions. I loved the way people from different episodes reemerged throughout the series.
If my children were not grown, I would have a viewing party and discuss where they want to be as working members of society. I recommend this series.
