It’s a great adaption of the musical. So in turn it’s an adaption of the original book, not the original movie. Astounding artist. Loved the transitions, the story line and the subtle nods to the original movie. This movie stand on its own with the singing being the feature. Fantasia and Taraji P. Henson have incredible chemistry and it show. There are some beautiful moments that tie relationships with nice moments without the fan fair. I cried and laughed throughout. I totally would recommend and will purchasing it as soon as it comes out on DVD!
