it is an excellent review of very troubling times in european history. she pulls no punches when descrbing the clinton administrations drive to maximize nato(and thereby u s) advantages in this murky past. the dealings and misdealings appeared to have no end which was probably true. now we have this proxy war in the ukraine which is probably a direct outcome of what transpired in 1990 - 1992 period of power poitics.
