I'm confused about the direction they chose. I expected a thiller/suspense/action drama genre, or even a cash grab slasher series. Instead it is mostly a teen drama mostly, with not particularly endearing characters. It's not bad per se, but it is certainly very far from representing the games. The budget is high enough to have good CGI and location sets and the acting is not bad. So, in summation, my low review score is based on the fact that the description of the show is misleading and I felt I spent the series waiting for ot to become something its not. If you like teen dramas with a side of apocalyptic fantasy it might be for you.
