For Shiggles and Gits Gaming

After several hours of gameplay - and ALOT of tweaking settings I have gotten this game to run pretty well and still look fantastic. For those who might be curious what settings to use: My PC Specs as follows: MOBO: Aorus X570 WIFI Elite CPU: Ryzen 7 2700 RAM: 32GB DDR4 @3200mhz (2X 16GB - Dual Channel) GPU: Aorus RX 6700XT Elite The settings: Resolution: 1920 X 1080 Advanced Graphics = Epic Anti Alias = Medium View Distance = Low Texture = High Post Processing = Medium General Shadows = Medium Global Illumination = Medium Effects Quality = High Foliage Qual = Low Max Frame Rate = Uncapped Motion Blur = Off Light Bloom = Off Light Shafts = Off Low-Light Enhancement =On Foliage Interaction = On Footstep Particles = Off Footstep Decals = Off Disable HLOD = On GUI 3D Widget: 0.5 I also run these Console Commands when I first load into the game: r.Streaming.PoolSize 0 r.Lumen.ScreenProbeGather.RadianceCache.ProbeResolution 16 r.Lumen.DiffuseIndirect.Allow 0 r.Lumen.Reflections.Allow 0 r.VolumetricCloud 0 r.VolumetricFog 0 grass.Enable 0 Results: I get a stable, visually excellent quality gaming experience and average roughly around 30-40fps (Which I know isn't amazing - but it IS playable without screen tearing and without lagging. I do lose a little bit of the excellent graphics for objects at distance - but once I am close to hte objects they clear up and the quality looks fantastic. After NUMEROUS hours of tweaking -I feel that (for myself) this is the best balance of Graphical beauty combined with performance that I am able to get with my PC hardware. The game looks phenomenal with these settings and is perfectly playable and enjoyable like this.

Not my usual type of game, yet after 49 hours of gameplay so far on a single campaign, I am hungry for more. I am averaging a couple hours at a time playing this game and I can't get enough of it. Rockstar games earned their name this time. The graphics, the attention to even the smallest details. The character development, interactions, and even the well thought out personal character arcs present throughout the game are mind blowing. I have found myself just wandering around just seeing what kind of new and awesome things are waiting for me to find them. Not just missions or activities either. From stumbling across an abandoned shack filled with the decomposed bodies of a cult, and reading their papers. To being randomly attacked from nowhere by a cougar, the details this game has are beyond compare. Bullet holes stay where they are, whether it's a cut scene after the battle, or it's days later and you ride back to the same place. Bodies don't disappear either, instead they decompose and are scavenged by predators. The game offers a chance to learn how to fish, but that doesn't mean you can't get fish before that, you can shoot the fish instead. So many ways that you can personalize the journey in this game. I cannot give it too many stars.
