Imo the show is pretty bland. There isn’t anything particularly exciting about the two (or the family in general). The banter and issues seem mundane and I feel like if they wanted to let their fans peek into their life they should’ve just done a youtube channel. I think a vlog type channel would’ve been perfect for the family because they have such a young audience, youtube would undoubtedly be the easiest way to connect with their fans. A reality tv show just seems like way too much for how, not to be rude, boring they are. They aren’t very funny on camera and while they do have endearing personalities, its not enough to hold my attention for the sometimes 30+ min episodes. They would’ve benefited a lot more from a youtube channel, I don’t even think their personalities being a bit boring would’ve even been an issue since the videos could be short but longer than a tiktok. Plus it would’ve been a lot gentler and easier for people to access than having to go out of their way to pay for a hulu membership to see them. That’s just my opinion, also I feel the same sentiment as others that they probably should’ve kept most of the issues they were having to themselves or to the very least— limited it to one or two episodes, because the impact of it is definitely diluted after watching them constantly complain. I think their feelings are valid but as unfortunate as it is, they come off bratty and tone deaf. Overall I personally didnt have much of an issue with the show, it wasn’t particularly engaging but it was fine as a boredom breaker while I was cleaning. Plus im just kinda nosy and I like watching people who live drastically different lifestyles than me. I’m not surprised to find the show was cancelled, Im more surprised it lasted for 3 seasons.
