While it certainly has some technical flaws, Venom is still an incredibly enjoyable movie. The acting is great, the characters do amazing with that they have got, and the action is as awesome as you would expect. Tom Hardy gives an amazing performance, and his character's relationship with Venom is perfect. The chemistry between them is unique and very well written, which is awesome since it perfectly fits the comic book character. While I wish they had kept the movie R rated, as the scenes they cut out would definitely have improved the movie, and the pacing in the third act speeds up a little too much, these flaws do not take away from the viewer experience. While a film critic would nit pick in this movie, the general audience will find it to be a slightly comedic super hero action movie, with one of my favourite protagonists in all the Marvel Universe. While the reviews and constant clickbait constantly preach this idea of the movie being a terrible waste of money, I would recommend going to see it for yourself with an open mind, since you may end up really enjoying it like most people are.
