I wish there was a way to leave negative stars. I am the wife of a minister and happened to be raised Catholic. I have studied various versions of the Bible from various translations. The original translations were Greek and Hebrew. In those translations, like today state “for a man to lay with a man as he does a woman is an abomination”. In Genesis, God created man and woman. Two genders. God created woman for man. Not woman for woman or man for man. But woman for man. We were created to procreate. I will love and pray for every child of God regardless of orientation. However, I can confidently say the depictions in this version are bastardized and completely incorrect. You cannot just change a holy book to meet your needs. God is love. Each of us would not exist if not for God’s uniting a man and a woman thereby creating each of us. My heart is sad. I will stand by the teachings of the generations before me and will uphold the true teachings in the Bible. May God have mercy on our souls as only He can. A spiritual war is truly raging in our world today. Satan has come with a vengeance. We must take up the armor of God and fight for our youth and our selves!
