Shells

The premise of the movie is interesting but there isn't a lot of detail provided about the colonies, aliens, or technologies used. For heavy Sci-Fi fans like me, you'll find that frustrating. For example (a little spoiler), they show a time line of events from first contact that doesn't seem realistic. A ship coming back to Earth from a distant mining colony in under 30 minutes. The "team" getting into a fire fight, having a discussion about everything, and suiting up to go to another planet within another 30 minutes. The movie is confusing and lacks consistency. It is not the *worst* movie I have ever seen but definitely not worth the rental fee. Watching the movie a 2nd time did help fill in some missing details. That is if you can suffer sitting through it a 2nd time. LOL.
