⚠️ Warning! ⚠️ Minor Spoilers Ahead!
As someone who grew up on the FNAF franchise, I was stoked when they first were speculating the release of a FNAF movie back in roughly 2016. However, year after year, it kept getting delayed, and it felt like we’d never get the much desired movie. When they announced its release in 2023, after I’d mostly moved on from my FNAF desires, I was so stoked!
The movie did not fail to meet my expectations. I get confused sometimes with the very in-depth lore, but I still understood the main ideas of the characters and plot. The acting was amazing and the events of the movie all made sense.
Obviously there were some minor issues one could beef about, but the only major one was the fact that the Spring Bonnie suit was already withered slightly. I know people also complain about the eyes of the animatronics being red, but during the movie when you watch the scenes with them, it makes it actually look better and they make more sense in my opinion.
I loved this movie so much! What a way to remember my childhood of watching FNAF animations, playing the FNAF games (and getting scared that Nightmare Foxy was hiding in my closet at night), buying all the plushies and toys possible, and just overall enjoying this game series to its fullest. I’m sad it’s coming to an end with Scott retiring, but I am so happy to have been raised with access to this game series that brought me immense amounts of joy. Getting a movie (and from the sounds of it, a prequel!) is a great way to end this saga of my life, if you will.
I know I’m blabbing on a lot about random stuff not related to the movie whatsoever, but for me personally, I just remembered all of these good times growing up on this franchise, and I know that any FNAF fan who watches this movie will also be reminiscing about those days. I highly recommend watching this movie. What a great way to end 2023 and what a great way to honor the joy this franchise has brought to
millions around the world. 🥹🫶
