Complete bummer. Worst movie ever. Horrible message for kids (kidnapping, killing, torture, jail, theft, robbery, crimes, neglect, abuse, and more...) Such a disappoint...that not one person involved in this production didn't stop and say--- "Hey--- do you guys think this is a bit DARK??? For kids???" I love Garfield, I hate this movie. Also, the trailer does not match the movie. There is one adorable and funny scene in the pizza resturant in the beginning and that is all. They should have stuck with that vibe. You can have Garfield "get lost" and find his way back home, maybe by eating veggies ...getting fit...and experiencing the world, I mean that would be funny--a lazy indoor cat gets healthy and cultured... They should have gone the cute and funny route with any other storyline---not the dark & dank awful rabbit hole of this storyline. Also I never leave bad reviews. If I don't like something I usually do not comment but I felt the need to save other families time, money and trauma...and all the questions.
