Best Deadpool movie so far with all the things we’ve come to expect from Deadpool like excessive blood, 4th wall breaking, cocaine jokes and a lot of heart. Plus Wolverine is there too, so there’s that… which is nice.

This movie was doomed from the beginning to be horrible. By the end, we had a mountain of questions from the many unanswered questions and plot holes. And the increasing number of pointless characters was laughable. This movie played out like the script was written pass-around style, where each person has to build off the previous sentence. It was a torturously boring movie with an unnecessarily wordy script that tried and failed to be interesting with poorly executed jump scares.

I had a hard time absorbing this movie. It was strange and it was difficult to follow. But I liked it because despite its strangeness, vagueness, and quirkiness this movie was intriguing. It kept me watching and thinking, maybe something interesting will happen in a few moments and then you finish the movie and realize the whole thing was interesting. I won’t watch it again. It wasn’t amazing or life changing. But for those brief two hours -ish… it was entertaining. And when it comes down to it, that’s all we’re really looking for in a movie. Isn’t it?
