Complete lack of any novelties . Ryder looks great after 36 years but she ain’t funny or cool anymore . Very same repetition of characters . Bad special effects . Good costume design . What saves the movie is the witty and performance ( as usual ) of Mrs . O’ Hara . The young girl is cute , cool and her acting was convincing . If I choose a word or 2 for it ; pathetic and poor .
