Released in India today on October 2nd '24 , Joker-2 is perhaps the biggest disappointment of the year. The music is rotten, the screenplay stinks and the scenes leading up to the climax can give the viewers a migraine for days! All credit/blame goes to the writing, direction, and editing for making the film so irredeemable despite such a stellar cast! 1. The film isn't enough to serve what it promises in the trailer n title! There's no Folie-a-Deux between this Harley and Joker! The empathy and compassion for Arthur's suffering and coping mechanism ( which made Joker 1 such a masterpiece) is lost on this one as the film seems to rather view him with contempt . 2. The makers seem to be threatened by Gaga's star-power and onscreen persona - while suspiciously cashing on the same! Most of her key scenes which are there in the trailer and initial shoots, have been chopped out from the film- rendering her character rather one-toned and underwhelming- with no credible arc or storyline of her own! All-in-all the film is a massive Gaga-bait with no substance! Avoid like plague. 🚨
