#Bramhastra : A review from the perspective of an ordinary movie going cinephile
I've been eagerly waiting to watch this epic unfold ever since it got announced. Then lockdown happened & this movie got delayed by almost 2 years in its release.
Eventually Me & wife were able to watch it on big screen yesterday evening & it totally blew us away. I've closely followed MCU & DC superhero movies & I've read most of the relevant comics. Believe when I say that I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed watching first Avengers movie back in 2012. Yeah it's a little bit cheesy at times but the #Brahmastra team executed it's VFX so well in a limited budget that it'll leave your jaws open in 3D experience. The story is refreshing where we get to know about #Astraverse and gigantic fight scenes executed in a pleasing manner. All in all we had a blast watching it & can't wait for part-2 to hit big screen.
Now addressing fake right-wing trolls who are adamant about boycotting it by spreading fake reviews & fake empty theatre screenshots & hate mongering in the name of religion. I'm a proud hindu myself & the way this movie has showcased our gods & mythology is immaculate & immensely respectful on all fronts. But politically motivated illiterate goons are spreading unnecessary hate.
Finally when Bollywood is making something that is deeply rooted to our culture & on such a big scale, we should at least make sure to go out and experience this spectacular piece of art in theaters.
Be your own judge & don't become a victim of herd mentality.
