Kenneth Parks – Google

Was excited for the show mainly because I was a fan of The Batman as well as the setting and tone it set up compared to previous Batman movies. With that being said, I really didn't know what to expect from a show focusing on this character. Idk if that's the reason why I enjoy this show so much, but the show doesn't disappoint. From the acting, story, tone to the pacing, everything about this show is nothing short of amazing. When the credits start to roll after each episode, you are left wanting more and immediately anticipating the next one. You don't miss the fact that Batman is never shown nor mentioned and he is truly not needed. I just wish they'd at least make a brief mention in the news or paper of what Bruce Wayne was doing to help repair the city since the plot takes place directly after The Batman. I sure hope they continue Oz's story past The Batman 2 with a season 2 and more!

This is dope show. From the great cast to the story line. Deon Cole really surprised me. Going in to show I did not think I would be able to take him serious due to all his comedic roles and just him being funny as hell all around. But he is showing he can take on more serious roles and has the ability to take on a variety of roles. Hope this story continues past season 1. BET+ has one with this show for sure!
