Not for me. I started it and stopped half way through the first episode, as I didn’t get it. But seeing so many positive reviews on the TV and online, I thought I’d better give it another go. Having now reached the end of the second episode, I won’t be continuing.

Nearly left half-way through but didn’t want to disturb the other cinema-goers. Had to read the synopsis when I got home to see what it was supposed to be about.

Gripping story, particularly with the evolving relationship between Maeve and Derwent. The only downside was trying to remember all the different characters who lived on The Close.
