It could be good. It could be dangerous. It tackles Feminist thought with such tact as Barbie tackles beauty. It is far smarter than what a kid would normally watch. Great power. But not smart enough. I mean, the message it wants to get across is broadly correct. The means are hardly responsible. This theme that it handles with the subtlety of a glitzy sledgehammer may be highly divisive for a kid's mind, and for a movie that promises to be a classic for the next ten years... But then, Barbie always was a bit sexist.
