SPOILER ALERT The ending didn’t make sense to me. After all they’d gone through they are finally together and they nonchalantly decide to separate. It didn’t seem believable to me that Marianne would not go with Connell to New York especially after all the depressing scenes right beforehand of her family disowning her. What did she have to stay for? Overall the stars I give are for how captivating and raw the relationship felt between the actors however the story and it’s portrayal felt flawed at times.
