Such an interesting concept destroyed by bad direction and mediocre screenplay! Cheesy dialogues at it’s height. Put Twilight, Fifty Shades of Grey, a bit of Harry Potter; blend them together and you get A Discovery of Witches. Story moved way fast, there was little character development. Teresa Palmer was underwhelming. Lots of thing didn’t just click and could have done in a much better way. The material was clearly there. A big waste of potential, because Matthew Goode was such an Interesting Vampire!
