Worst game I have ever played (Nintendo Switch). I wish I would have done more research prior to downloading, but I was so eager to play this game, and have been waiting for ages for it. I know that Switch versions aren't usually as flashy as their PS and Xbox counterparts, but I love the portability of the switch and never has a game felt sluggish enough to even slightly frustrate me. I don't care about frame rate (I have no idea how to even tell what frame rate a game is playing at). I barley care about graphics, lighting effects, or online support. So the Switch has always been my preferred system. As such, I was prepared for a lower quality port of Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes, but this is beyond painful. This is not the result of developers who care about the JRPG community - as they insist on mentioning over and over, even the first words on the screen of this game stated as much. Those words, by the way, were a simple white text on a black screen that took a minute to load. This game feels more like a slap in the face. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME ON SWITCH!!! I would suggest not downloading for any platform. It isn't good enough to just say, play it on PlayStation. Developers should be held to higher standards. If you don't have a game that can be played on Switch, then don't offer it on Switch. That's fine. There are plenty of other developers who do just that - release exclusively on the platforms that support their work. So disappointed.
